Round 2 Enrollment Tips: After Receiving SFUSD Round 1 Assignment Letter
Information for families enrolling in SFUSD in fall 2018.
If you were assigned to a school of your choice:
Congratulations!
Register at your assigned school by April 6, 2018.
You will lose your spot if you do not register.
Get to know the school community.
Attend school events or join the school email group.
If you did not receive a school of your choice:
Register at the offered school by April 6, 2018.
Submit Round 2 amended application form by April 6, 2018.
Can add or reorder your choices for Round 2. ONLY list options that you want more than Round 1 offer.
List all choices in the order of your preference.
If you received one of your choices, but prefer a school higher on your list:
Register at offered school by April 6, 2018.
Submit Round 2 amended application form by April 6, 2018.
Can add or reorder your choices for Round 2. ONLY list options that you want more than Round 1 offer.
List all choices in the order of your preference.
If you would like to submit a Medical or Family Hardship Appeal:
Approved on a case-by-case basis by appeal committee.
Appeal for only ONE SCHOOL that can meet the student’s needs better than the assigned school.
List all options you prefer over Round 1 offer on Round 2 application.
Follow the SFUSD appeal guidelines and be specific.
Submit appeal forms with your Round 2 application by April 6, 2018.
