PPS-SF Welcomes Two New Board Members

PPS-SF ratified the addition of two new Board of Directors members, Nancy Gapasin Gnass and Darren Kawaii, at the Annual General Meeting on April 26, 2017.

A 15-year member of PPS-SF, Nancy is an active volunteer for both PPS-SF and the SFUSD. As a public school parent and educator, Nancy brings a working knowledge of district governance and policy-making structures to the PPS-SF Board.

A San Francisco native, Darren is both an alumnus of and educator for the SFUSD. An activist with interest in diverse issues, Darren brings degrees in ethnic studies and urban education to his work on the PPS-SF Board.

We are excited to welcome Nancy and Darren to the PPS-SF team and we look forward to working with them in support of our San Francisco public schools.
